ALL BLUES, ALL LPs ON ROY'S RECORD ROOM
This week, we're gonna return to that great stash of LPs
recently sent to The Room by Joan Sherman of Athabasca.
The cache, which originally came from Joan's Dad - Bay area
collector, writer, and music lover Edward Podesta - contained
a ton of blues, jazz, some folk and a few world music LPs.
On Monday's show, we'll dive down deep into the blues with
great cuts from Otis Spann, John Lee Hooker, Peetie Wheatstraw
(The Devil's Son In Law), Rosetta Howard, Tommy McLennan,
Bukka White, Jimmy Witherspoon and more.
That's Monday, August 2nd, six PM, Mountain Time -
All Blues, All LPs - on Rooooooy's Record Room,
the show where we check out the past to energize
the future.
