The Golden Circle singers practice on Mondays at 1:30pm
at the Golden Circle Senior Resource Centre, 4620 47th Avenue
in Red Deer. If you love to sing, they perform in local nursing
homes and seniors residences and host Christmas and Spring

Edmonton's Richard Eaton Singers merge with the Vancouver
Chamber Choir on Tuesday March 9 th to perform several works,
including the world-premiere A Song of the Seasons, which
pays homage to conductor Leonard Ratzlaff. The concert begins
at 8:00PM at the First Presbyterian Church 10025- 105 St,

Calgary audiences are invited on an adventure through Scotland
with Lunchbox Theatre's production of The Submarine. The play
runs March 8 to April 3, Monday to Saturday at 12:10PM with
an added performance every Friday at 6:10 PM. The theatre

The Grande Prairie Public Library Friends Society is hosting
their 9th Annual Silent Auction in the library from March
1st to 21st.
The auction showcases local talent from the community and
items include artwork from Kim Dettling, Tannis Trydal, and
Joan Taylor, as well as sculpture, photo cards, crafts, jewellery,

The Yardbird Suite Tuesday Sessions are held each Tuesday
evening at the newly renovated jazz club 11 Tommy Banks Way,
Edmonton. Tomorrow a one set performance by Edmonton group

Disposable is the story of the so-called "Ragpickers"
of Delhi who deal with waste in the city and Calcutta Hilton
addresses the problems of women sold into prostitution in
that city. The Free Marda Loop Justice Film Night, presents
these films at 7:00 PM tonight in the River Park Church Auditorium,
3818-14A St. SW, in Calgary.
The 31st Season of Music Wednesdays at Noon continues in
the banquet hall of McDougall United Church, on 101st Street
and MacDonald Drive in Edmonton tomorrow at 12:15 with Alicia
Au, Julie Amundsen and Jana Olson performing on violin, cello

Mapping Creativity - A Journey of Transformation at the Red
Deer Museum and Art Gallery - 4525 47A Ave. to April 11th
is artist, musician and filmmaker Larry Reese's set of self
portraits done over almost 30 years. They chart his changes
of painting styles, maturity and personality. Other works
depict central Alberta's Raven Brood Trout Station, and portraits

Calgary's Stride Gallery displays Building Disaster by Dagmara
Genda to March 27th. The exhibit at 1004 MacLeod Trail SE.
explores notions of construction and destruction through the
Stalinist Palace of Culture and Science in Poland as well
as other Soviet motifs that are interpreted differently in
the West.
Tomorrow at 12 noon Learn about Tajik Music in a Lecture
Demonstration with visiting artist Rustam Duloev. The Department
of Music Monday Noon Music presentation takes place in Convocation
Hall in the Arts Building at the University of Alberta. Call
