Don Haberstock

In May of 2001, Don joined CKUA's Engineering team. As a technical engineer, Don helps maintain the seventeen transmitter sites around Alberta, the studios in Edmonton and Calgary, CKUA's phone system, and assists with the general ongoing maintenance of the station. Don also works on the Alberta Emergency Public Warning System, in which CKUA plays an integral role, distributing and maintaining the system for the department of Municipal Affairs, in the Alberta Government.

Don's previous work experience includes over 20 years in the Canadian Forces as an Avionics Technician, specializing in aircraft radios, radar, navigation, fight controls, computers and cockpit instruments. Since coming to CKUA, Don has learned a great deal about the broadcast industry and looks forward to many more years with the station.
