The traffic coordinator in radio is responsible for everything being in its proper place on the air. She must make sure that all the taped programs have been played, and that commercials are aired at the right time and the right number of times. These duties probably only make up a third of her work. Sharon must also fill out reports to sales and programming, monitor logs and book the commercial clients' in-studio work. Traffic coordination is a high-pressure job. There are no planes to crash, but there is definitely air to kill! Sharon handles this pressure with grace and ease.

Sharon came to CKUA as a receptionist in 1994 and has been with CKUA ever since. She loves the station and supports it as a listener at home with her family. Sharon makes the comment that life at the station is never dull. With her busy position here at CKUA, we definitely believe her!
